Birmingham Engagement Photos in Digbeth for Zoé & Dan

I loved hanging out with these two and shooting their Birmingham engagement photos. Zoé just oozes goodness she’s just an all round good person to be around, gorgeous, down to Earth, thoughtful and chatty…and Dan – well Dan is funny so I liked him too. 🙂

We spent the evening walking around their stomping ground of Digbeth, where they have spent many a night dancing and putting the world to rights in the Irish Centre with their families, before we ended the night in a pub. I really love to get to know my couples prior to their wedding days – hearing about what makes them happy, their proposal stories and how they met. Dan spotted Zoé in a Chinese take away restaurant when Zoé was just 14 (Dan wasn’t much older honest!) and he sent his mate over to ask her out. How old skool is that?! 😀

I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding at Shustoke Farm Barns in May – it is sure to be beautiful especially as I know  Zoé has got one of my favourite florists onboard, Hannah at Bloom Fleuriste.
