The Prince Albert in Camden really is something special. It’s a gorgeous old London pub with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for laid back weddings. It’s easily up there with my favourite wedding venues in the city. Eclectic and full of character and history, I absolutely love photographing weddings here.

Couples love it here because you can hire the whole pub for the day, including its enclosed beer garden for you to fill with wedding guests! And it goes without saying, it’s in Camden so it’s as cool as ice and a slice on a perfect summer’s day.
There are plenty of pub wedding venues around London, but as a wedding photographer I count the Prince Albert as a standout favourite and I’d love to shoot more weddings here!

What’s it like getting married at the Prince Albert in Camden?
Weddings at The Prince Albert are relaxed, down to earth and come with a warm welcome, pint in hand! It’s a lovely sized venue with indoor and outdoor space. The place is all yours for the day which gives you and your wedding guests time to feel at home!
There are loads of photo opportunities both inside and out, so you’ll find me happy as anything shooting your wedding here! Couples often have their ceremony on the ground floor, a stunning open space with stained glass windows. Then it’s upstairs for the meal and speeches in a blank canvas space which proudly displays its history on the wall (as a massive 1843). The huge sash windows make this a fantastic room for wedding photography. With happy tummies, you and your guests can party ’til the small hours in the bar downstairs!

The vibe: Camden’s Prince Albert wedding venue
The wooden floors, green tiled walls and high ceilings give a rustic feel – perfect for a pub wedding. But there’s a fascination about this place – way more than your average London boozer, the atmosphere in here has history and laid back charm which I think is pretty unbeatable. An easygoing space means loads of fun images as your guests chat and chill. It makes wedding photography a joy as I spot and snap all the impromptu moments of love and happiness, while you celebrate with all your guests.
The Prince Albert is proper classy for a pub, and enough of a blank canvas that you can make it your own by styling tables, adding colour and lighting to the dining room to make it a really personal and beautiful reception space.

Why I love being a wedding photographer at The Prince Albert
The light in here is amazing: the ground floor ceremony room has beautiful old sash windows and stained glass allowing in natural light. The windows all around the dining room make this space light and bright – it’s fantastic for wedding photography. On warm evenings, the beer garden outside is a great space to capture natural images of your wedding guests.
The dining room is elegant and understated, a lovely blank canvas for different wedding styles. Think lots of greenery and texture, or chic glassware and sophisticated stationery. Or take inspiration from the burst of colour at Emma and Pete’s wedding! I adore fun, colourful wedding photography – and it works brilliantly at the Prince Albert in Camden.
A review from a Prince Albert wedding couple
“To put it simply, we LOVE our pics from Jordanna. Every photo has something special and the colours glow with the energy and fun of our big day! She was also great at making you feel at ease if you’re a bit camera shy (like me) – no awkward posing for ages or redos again and again – she’s got you at your best angle already!” ~ Emma & Pete
“We still look at our pics all the time, WHAT A DAY!” ~ Emma & Pete on instagram, a year and a half after their wedding!

MY APPROACH
Fun and colourful wedding photography is my speciality, with authentic images capturing the best moments through your day. The pub setting of the Prince Albert makes it easy for you and your guests to relax and behave naturally. That’s perfect for me as your wedding photographer to get the best in-the-moment shots.

Why choose me as your Prince Albert, Camden wedding photographer
If you want to relax and enjoy your day without having to pose for photos, I’m your girl!
As an alternative wedding photographer in London I’m not looking for the perfect still life pics or a delicate colour palette. I want to capture images of joy and colour and of people laughing and hugging and having fun – the photos that will bring your wedding back to life every time you look at them.
