Escheat Farm Wedding // Alex and Ollie had a super laid back wedding at Escheat Farm near Woburn in Bedfordshire.

The morning started off with both Alex and Ollie getting ready in neighbouring cottage style accommodation in Woburn. Obviously it is a well known wedding tradition to get ready separately and only see each other once the ceremony starts but I think if that doesn’t suit you then sack it off! Trust me the day goes so fast and the nerves can be crazy in the build up – so if you have thought about getting ready together then go for it!

Alex’s dress was boho with a touch of glam – it sparkled subtly in the summer sun we not talking full on bling-erama here! – and her paired down healthy glowy make up look suited her to a T. As did her Havainas – a girl after my own heart! Ollie wasn’t to be upstaged either – I loved his green suit jacket and raw cotton tie. The boy did good!

The ceremony was held in an orchard by humanist celebrant extraordinaire, Zena. She’s a gem and made Alex and Ollie’s ceremony so sweet and personal.

The meal was so chilled with food being served from the most beautiful food van and the tipi was dressed with palms-a-plenty.

No first dance, No cake. No pressure to do anything that they didn’t feel suited the two of them. Just lovely people and good vibes all day long.

Thanks so much to Alex and Ollie for being such a pair of loves. I will remember your day fondly!

The tree-lined paddock and meadow fields are the perfect space to host your choice of canvas for up to 150 guests.

The orchard is a stunning spot with a natural tree-lined aisle perfect for a blessing, celebrant or humanist ceremony. Unfortunately Escheat Farm isn’t licensed for legal marriage ceremonies. If you’re having your ceremony elsewhere then it’s an equally fabulous location for your photos, reception and party! ​Whilst Escheat Farm sits in a semi-rural location we have fantastic transport links by road, rail and air and plenty of nearby accommodation for you and your guests, making it the perfect location for your once in a lifetime Wedding Day.
